CAELIS Deck — Privacy Policy
In one line: the CAELIS Deck extension moves guest details from the CAELIS app running on this same computer into the form you have open. It does not send that data anywhere itself, does not store it, and never sells or shares it.
What the extension does
CAELIS Deck fills a browser guest form — name, date of birth, address, and ID/document fields — using the most recent ID scan you sent from your CAELIS phone app to the CAELIS Deck helper running on your computer.
What data it touches
- The guest details from your latest scan (name, date of birth, address, ID/document number, sex), read locally from the CAELIS Deck helper at 127.0.0.1 on your own computer.
- The form fields on the page you are actively viewing, so it can place each value in the right box.
Where the data goes
Nowhere new. The extension reads the guest details from the local helper and writes them into the open page. It does not transmit guest data to CAELIS servers or any third party. The scan itself travels from your phone to your computer end-to-end encrypted; only your computer can read it.
Storage
The extension does not store guest data. It keeps only a small connection flag to show whether the local helper is running.
Permissions and why
- Active tab & scripting — to fill the guest form on the page you choose, only when you click the extension or press the fill shortcut.
- Local host (127.0.0.1) — to read the decrypted guest details from the CAELIS Deck helper on the same computer.
- Alarms — to keep the connection to the local helper responsive.
Selling or sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any guest data. The extension is a local tool between your phone, your computer, and your PMS.
